PDF properties show up in search results, browser tabs and file managers – and they can leak who wrote a document and with what software. View the current title, author, subject, keywords and dates, edit any of them, or clear everything before you share.

Good to know
- A good Title improves how your PDF appears in Google results and browser tabs when it is hosted online.
- Clearing removes both the classic document-information fields and the XMP metadata stream.
