Pick pages visually from thumbnails and save them as a fresh PDF. It is the fastest way to send someone just the relevant pages of a long report, a single statement out of a year of bank PDFs, or one chapter from a book you own.
How to extract pages from a PDF
- Open your PDF to see every page as a thumbnail.
- Click the pages to include (shift-click selects a run).
- Press Extract and download the new document.
Good to know
- Your original file is never changed; you get a new PDF with only the chosen pages.
- Selected pages keep their order from the original document. To change order, use Organize PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Can I extract pages from a large PDF?
Yes. Thumbnails render lazily as you scroll, so even documents with thousands of pages stay responsive.
What is the difference between Extract and Split?
Extract makes one new file from the pages you pick. Split divides the whole document into several files.
Is the text still searchable after extraction?
Yes. Pages are copied, not converted, so text, links and fonts stay intact.
